Duties
Safely install solar panels, mounting systems, inverters, and related electrical components following project specifications and safety protocols
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and rigging gear to prepare sites and lift materials into place
Use hand tools and power tools to assemble racking systems, connect electrical wiring, and secure components effectively
Conduct site assessments to determine optimal panel placement and ensure structural integrity using mechanical knowledge
Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot system issues during installation to guarantee proper operation before commissioning
Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards and project timelines
Assist with welding, low voltage wiring, and electrical connections as needed for system integration
Skills
Proficiency in electrical work, including low voltage wiring, electrical connections, and troubleshooting electrical systems
Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on various tasks
Knowledge of safety procedures related to low voltage electrical work, heavy equipment operation, and working at heights
