Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent cooking skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and grow within the food service industry.

Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to restaurant recipes and standards
Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and hygiene
Assist with food plating, garnishing, and portioning to ensure consistency
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service




Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols related to food handling and preparation
Stock ingredients and supplies as needed, notifying management of shortages or issues

Qualifications
Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation processes and kitchen operations
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is a plus

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
