We are seeking a Senior Security Operations Specialist II with hands‑on experience in network security operations, advanced troubleshooting, operational support, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, support secure implementation of new technologies, and act as an escalation point for complex network and security issues in a 24/7 environment.
Monitor, support, and maintain network security infrastructure. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network, security, and operational issues. Manage incidents, problems, service requests, and change requests.
Support deployment and secure implementation of current technologies and solutions. Assess and communicate risks affecting network and security services. Ensure compliance with security best practices, network segmentation, and firewall standards.
Support enterprise security services including patching, endpoint protection, encryption, PKI, and Active Directory. Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. Support infrastructure upgrades and lifecycle management. 5+ years of hands‑on experience supporting enterprise network security, cybersecurity operations, and critical infrastructure in a complex enterprise environment. ~ University degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent. ~ Strong understanding of enterprise security services, including patching, Anti‑Virus/IPS, Encryption, PKI, and Active Directory.
~ Knowledge of security zoning, network segmentation, and firewall/DMZ principles. ~ Knowledge of the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash) and agentic pipelines. ~ Understanding of software development best practices and use of AI models for scalable code development. ~ Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
Position Type: Management Job Status: Regular - Full Time For work arrangements that are ‘Hybrid’, successful candidates must be based in Canada and report to a set Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week.
