We are looking for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Driver to operate a 53' dry van for local LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) deliveries throughout the Edmonton area.
This is 100% local work—you'll be home every night. The position involves multiple pickups and deliveries each day at commercial and industrial locations, so applicants must be confident maneuvering a 53' trailer in city traffic, tight loading docks, and busy customer sites.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a 53' dry van for local LTL pickups and deliveries.
Complete multiple deliveries and pickups throughout the day while maintaining an effective schedule.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues.
Secure freight and ensure all loads are transported safely.
Use our mobile dispatch application to receive work assignments and update delivery status.
Complete required paperwork accurately and communicate professionally with dispatch and customers.
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Requirements
Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
Valid Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification.
Previous experience operating a 53' dry van trailer.
Experience with LTL freight and multi-stop city deliveries is required.
Strong backing and trailer maneuvering skills in tight urban environments.
Valuable knowledge of the Edmonton area and efficient route planning.
Professional attitude, solid communication skills, and a commitment to safety and punctuality.
