Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundsperson to join our team in Tillsonburg. This position offers the possiblity of advancing in the business to become an ISA-certified arborist.

Responsibilities
Assisting the crew leader in job set-up, debris removal, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
Keep the jobsite clean, organized and safe.
Follow direction from the crew leader and communicate clearly with team members.
Operate and maintain tools and machinery such as chainsaws, chippers, and other jobsite equipment.
Abide by industry secure policies and procedures.
Assist climbers and equipment operators with ropes, rigging, and ground support.
Driving Trucks and trailers and performing regular daily inspections

Skills
Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs.
Valid provincial driver's license. License to drive a 5-ton vehicle and an air brake endorsement is considered assets.
Willingness to work towards becoming a certified arborist.
Ability to work safely as part of a team, and possess the willingness to learn and progress in the business.
Must be 18 years or older.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
