The University of Victoria is hiring an Assistant Teaching Professor of Piano for a full time, tenure-track role beginning January 1, 2027.
This position focuses on teaching and recruiting talented piano students.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree, with a preference for a Doctorate, along with significant performance achievements.
This impactful role involves teaching applied lessons across undergraduate and graduate levels and may encompass additional courses in team-oriented piano and literature, enhancing the rich curriculum of the School of Music.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct applied piano lessons for students at all levels
• Develop curricula for team-oriented piano and literature
• Engage in student recruitment and mentorship
• Maintain an excellent piano studio atmosphere

Requirements:
• Master’s degree required; Doctorate favored
