Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant to support our team in providing exceptional care to our clients and families. Responsibilities
Assist children with regulation, speech support, social interaction and connection
Create good rapport with families, therapists and child
Create fun engaging activities to target speech and socialization goals
Experience
Prior experience in home care or group child care settings preferred
Knowledge of speech support, strategies for social connections
Experience with children with exceptional needs, ASD, ADHD, moderate to severe speech delays
Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with individuals with special needs
Previous experience working in a disability support environment is a plus but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
