.Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team as an independent contractor or Staff Pharmacist, as per the Pharmacist's preference.This role is ideal for a pharmacist who is confident in both community pharmacy practice and level B compounding services, and is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to all legal and safety regulations.
Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers regarding medication selection, dosage, interactions, and patient-specific considerations.
Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions to promote adherence and safety.
Review patient medication profiles for potential drug interactions or contraindications.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of medication dispensing activities in compliance with hospital policies.
Collaborate with medical staff to develop and update treatment plans involving pharmacological therapies.




Monitor patient responses to medications and report adverse reactions or concerns promptly.
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, hospital policies, and safety standards.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and auditing medications.

Requirements
Licensed and in valuable standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
Experience or strong interest in compounding pharmacy
Knowledge of compounding standards and best practices (e.g., non-sterile/sterile techniques)
Solid attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and safety
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with pharmacy software systems (Kroll is an asset)
Injection certification and minor ailment prescribing authorization are assets

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour
