Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist in maintaining a clean and efficient clinical workplace, and support the overall operations of our office. The position requires a licensed Dental Hygienist with experience in dental hygiene procedures and patient education.

Duties
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Complete periodontal assessments, probing, charting, oral cancer screening, and medical history reviews.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using ABELDent or similar dental management software
Manage sterilization of dental instruments and ensure infection control protocols are followed




Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
Bilingual communication skills to serve diverse patient populations are a plus
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations

Skills
Proficiency in ABELDent or other dental practice management software
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
Experience in dental assisting is advantageous but not required
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication are preferred
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
