Hansel Aluminum Products is a dynamic sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication business operating out of Penticton, BC since 2002. We are a growing company that continues to innovate and improve our processes, priding ourselves on being a qualified manufacturing service known for precision and reliability. As we continue to expand we now look to begin our search for another welder/fabricator to join our team.

Duties:
Fabricate and assemble aluminum/stainless/carbon steel components based on schematics and instructions
Utilize CNC cutting table, shear, press brake, machining equipment and powered hand tools to cut and shape materials for parts and jobs
Operate GTAW welding machine and GMAW welding machine for aluminum/stainless/carbon
Follow codes, standards, and specifications to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with fabricated products and the machines used to make them

Qualifications:




Proven experience as a welder/fabricator or similar role
Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment operation
Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations related to fabrication work
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Capability to lift and manually move 50lbs

Note: Additional qualifications such as certifications in welding or relevant vocational training are an asset

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$38.00 per hour
