We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook Grill to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food safety practices, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. The Line Cook Grill plays a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste, presentation, and safety.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook grilled menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperature and presentation specifications
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding work areas
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Adhere to sanitation standards and maintain a safe working environment
Support other kitchen stations as needed during busy periods
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service, preferably in a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
Ability to operate grilling equipment efficiently and safely
Excellent understanding of meal preparation and food presentation techniques
Positive communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work quickly and accurately in a rapid-paced environment
Knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service principles is a plus
