Responsibilities
Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and dietary options.
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards.
Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to health and safety regulations.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any customer concerns promptly.
Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and customer service standards.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food handling practices and basic math skills for order processing and cash handling.
Ability to operate POS systems efficiently for order entry and payment processing.
Robust communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Must be able to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy setting.
A positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods during shifts.
