Job Title: Machinist ,Lathe

Company Description: Armor Machine & Manufacturing Ltd, is a full service, turnkey machine shop that boasts over 75,000 sq feet of production space and 40 years’ experience in industry. Armor Machine specializes in the machining of Oil & Gas components, ranging from small components to the largest parts the down hole drilling industry.

Introduction: Armor Machine is hiring machinist positions for our CNC lathe department. Past experience in Oil & Gas machining is preferred. Applicants with Weiler experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
Read and Interpret engineer’s drawings
Operate numerically controlled machines(CNC)
Ability to proficiently program machinery will be considered an asset
Machine parts to specifications using a lathe machine.
Document and report any deficiencies




Maintain work station and keep up with housekeeping duties

Qualifications:
Should have a Valid Class 5 Drivers License or reliable way to get to work
Ability to drive a Forklift and operate an overhead crane an asset
Journeymen certificate or applicable years’ experience working as a machinist
Oil & Gas machining experience
Ability to efficiently work independently as well as in a team
Attention to detail
