We are seeking a skilled and dependable Framing Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in carpentry, blueprint reading, and various construction techniques. This role involves working on residential, commercial, and restoration projects, utilizing a variety of tools and equipment to deliver high-quality framing solutions. Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing projects.
Construct, install, and repair building frameworks including walls, floors, and roofs using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
Perform concrete forming and finishing as required for specific projects.
Handle siding installation and restoration work to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
Operate heavy machinery safely for tasks such as lifting and positioning large materials.
Engage in welding and woodworking tasks to create custom components or reinforce structures.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met with quality workmanship.
Assist with heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Proven experience in carpentry or construction work with a focus on framing.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, siding installation, and restoration techniques is preferred.
Robust understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Prior experience in woodworking or working with heavy equipment is advantageous.
Valid driver’s license is preferred for site travel requirements.
