Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeCA$95.00/hr - CA$105.00/hrDirect message the job poster from TEEMASenior Associate at TEEMA Solutions GroupOverview:The Engineer is a professional engineer or geoscientist who applies engineering knowledge toprovide innovative engineering, estimating, planning, and quality management services formedium to high complexity projects and/or operations safely, with quality, within budget, andon time.What you will be doing?- Develop safe engineering solutions by using initiative and judgement to perform tasksincluding developing designs, analyzing and resolving problems, and interpretingengineering specifications on medium to highly complex assignments for ourprojects and operations.- Meet safety, cost, quality, and time objectives by proposing changes in plans andestimated costs, recommending payment for work completed by contractors, preparingprogress reports, coordinating work schedules and other similar tasks.Resolve highly technical and unusual design and field engineering problems byconducting independent studies and analysis, exercising independent judgment inselecting and interpreting information, recommending safe engineering designs tosupport successful operations and/or project completion.Participate in our engineering practice by conducting independent studies andanalysis, contributing to the development of technical standards, exercising judgment inselecting and interpreting information, recommending safe engineering designs,



andmaking decisions related to methods and designs as well as providing guidance andadvice to other engineering professionals to develop future capability.Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating with stakeholders andperforming activities such as defining the scope of engineering/geoscience services tobe provided, establishing the basic design criteria with the client, approving all relatedtechnical documentation, and assessing and reporting on work progress againststandards, objectives, and specifications to support completion of projects safely, withquality, within budget and on time.Make decisions and recommendations of a complex technical nature including theestablishment of design bases, criteria and concepts, and/or on matters affecting themanagement of engineering/geoscience resources and activities to support major workassignments for the engineering divisions.What you need to have?Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) withEngineers & Geoscientists BC or with another jurisdiction and eligible for registration assuch with Engineers & Geoscientists BCFamiliarity with CAD systems and drawing standardsAbility to use standard industry design/analysis softwareIntermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)A minimum ten (10) years of working experience as a telecom engineer includingsignificant time working in the electrical utility industryA minimum four (4) years of working experience in leading or coordinating multi-Good working experience with typical telecom components including: microwavesystems, fibre optic, or power line carrier, inclusive of all aspects of the system includingstructures, antennas, radios, battery banks, control room installations, remote telecombuildings,
