Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time/Casual Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety standards
Provide medication counseling and education to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy plans
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all pharmacy activities
Assist in inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring medication supplies
Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to safety and cleanliness standards
Support patient care initiatives by participating in health screenings or vaccination programs as needed
Requirements
Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice
Hospital experience or acute care experience is highly desirable
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
Robust knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings or weekends if required
