Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hotel equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role requires a solid background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with the ability to interpret schematics and work with various control systems. The Maintenance Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring safety standards and minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance and technical expertise.
Duties
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, electrical, mechanical and plumbing.
Constantly monitors the operation of hotel equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipates and solves problems in a timely manner and identifies prospects for improvement.
Conduct troubleshooting and repairs involving electrician experience,
HVAC systems, boiler operation, and other mechanical components.
Assist with installation of current equipment and upgrades to existing systems as needed.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols while performing maintenance tasks.
Must be a "handy person" with problem solving skills.
Must have experience in building maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Qualifications
Familiarity with boiler operation, HVAC troubleshooting, welding procedures, and electrical troubleshooting is preferred.
Experience working in environments requiring adherence to safety standards and protocols.
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
