We are seeking a skilled and experienced Off Track Betting Cashier to join our team and ensuring that our guests have a positive experience. The candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.

Priority will be given to candidates with previous experience in horse racing and off track betting.

Responsibilities:
Organizational and time management skills.
Ability to organize and communicate thoughts.
Ability to carry out responsibilities with limited supervision.
Maintains and balance float.
Processing horse racing bets on specialized betting terminals.
Provides basic technical support for betting machines, machine malfunction diagnosis which may include reporting any machine malfunction to service technician.
Troubleshooting: reporting any suspicious activity to Supervisor or Security
Preparation and maintenance of decoders and televisions.




Identifies and reports counterfeit bills to Supervisor or Security.
Follows all rules outlined by Canadian Pari-Mutuel Agency.
Other duties as assigned.

Providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills in English.
Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
Sharp mathematical skills to add and multiply numbers quickly. numerical combinations.

Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Related Off-Track Betting (OTB) experience preferred.
Basic computer skills preferred.
