Senior Accountant (hybrid)

CPA firm located in Markham, ON
Salary range: $80,000–$100,000 annually

Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements (audit, review, compilation) under ASPE for for-profit and NPO clients
Assist with IFRS engagements (public company exposure)
Prepare T1, T2, T3, T3010, T4, T5 filings
Complete GST/HST/PSB returns
Support engagement teams and maintain organized working papers
Communicate with clients to gather required information
Deliver work within budget and timelines
Escalate issues and provide status updates to senior team members

Qualifications:
CPA designated or in progress
Degree in Accounting
3+ years of Canadian public accounting experience
Experience with assurance (audit) and tax (audit)
Strong knowledge of ASPE/ASNPO; IFRS exposure is an asset
Proficient in Excel and accounting tools (CaseWare, QuickBooks, Sage, TaxPrep)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
Able to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range: $80,000–$100,000 annually experience dependent
