Bangkok Food Truck is growing and looking for an experienced Cook / Line Cook to join our team.

We are a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen focused on fresh ingredients, consistency, and high-volume service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on cooking, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in producing quality food quickly and efficiently.

What You'll Do
Prepare and cook Thai-inspired dishes and menu items
Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
Assist with prep, inventory, and kitchen organization
Monitor food portions and minimize waste
Help receive and stock food and kitchen supplies
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
Support kitchen operations during busy service periods
Assist with training and supervising kitchen helpers when needed

What We're Looking For
2+ years of cooking or line cook experience in a restaurant, food truck, or commercial kitchen
Robust multitasking and time management skills
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting
Reliable, organized, and dependable
Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting kitchen supplies
Team-focused attitude with a willingness to jump in where needed
Experience with Thai cuisine is an asset, but not required

Requirements




Secondary school diploma or equivalent
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
A criminal record check may be required
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Maritimes

Schedule
Full-time permanent position
Approximately 44 hours per week
Day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
Work location: On the road
