HIRING LINE COOKS, PREP COOKS, DISHWASHERS / KITCHEN PORTERS

We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Back of House Staff to join our vibrant team in delivering exceptional food experiences at our BRAND NEW restaurant coming to Courtenay. Back of House team members play a vital role in ensuring every dish meets our standards for quality, consistency, and presentation. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Prior kitchen experience and familiarity with food preparation and safety standards are preferred. These positions offer an engaging, team-focused environment where efficiency, organization, and pride in execution are at the forefront of daily operations.

Requirements




Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques is an asset
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency
Ability to follow recipes, specs, and instructions accurately
Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure workplace
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak service times
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and leadership
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings required
