As a Senior Software Developer on our Search team, you'll help evolve Coveo's search capabilities, delivering intelligent, scalable search experiences to thousands of organizations around the world. You’ll tackle high-impact technical challenges at the intersection of distributed systems, search technology, platform engineering, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Whether your expertise is in C++ or Java, you’ll help build the next generation of search experiences that power Coveo's products. As one of our Senior Software Developers, Search, you will: Design, develop, and optimize scalable search capabilities using C++ or Java within Coveo's platform. Build and evolve platform services, application programming interfaces (APIs), and extensibility mechanisms that enable search capabilities across multiple Coveo products.

Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, Data Scientists, and Software Developers to deliver impactful search solutions.



Analyze existing services and contribute to the architecture of current platform capabilities that improve scalability, reliability, and performance. 5+yrs of professional software development experience using C++ or Java. ~ Experience designing and delivering scalable, reusable, high-quality software within a complex platform or product environment. ~ Experience building backend services, application programming interfaces (APIs), developer platforms, or product integrations. Knowledge of information retrieval, indexing, query execution, vector search, or artificial intelligence (AI)-powered search technologies.
