Join AeroVect as a Senior Software Safety Engineer, leading safety analyses for autonomous vehicle systems. Utilize your expertise in C++, Python, and safety standards to enhance safety lifecycles. This role, positioned under the Head of Safety, focuses on hazard analyses, requirements derivation, and cross-functional collaboration.
You'll engage with systems, software, and robotics teams to ensure all safety requirements are integrated and verified, facilitating secure deployments in ground handling operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform system safety analysis using HARA, FMEA, and FTA
- Derive and trace functional safety requirements for autonomy
- Collaborate with teams to integrate safety into all levels
- Assist in the creation of safety case artifacts for deployments
- Conduct software hazard analyses per ISO 26262-6 and SOTIF Requirements:
- 5+ years in safety engineering for autonomous vehicles
- Experience in C++, Python, or ROS/ROS2
- Strong knowledge of safety lifecycles and ASIL
- Background in mobile robotics or autonomous systems
