We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our client's team at their facility in Brockville, ON.
A minimum of 5 years of previous work experience in a similar Operations Management role within the LTL Transportation industry is required for this position.
Salary: $70,000-75,000/year
Responsibilities:
Directing/coordinating the daily operations to provide quality service to customers
Communicating with dispatch and dock to coordinate movement of trailers and freight, ensuring orders are delivered in a timely manner
Coordinating with customers to ensure their needs are met, investigating and resolving complaints and issues
Interviewing and training of new personnel
Preparing the budget and analysis of company KPIs to increase profits and improve processes
Enforcing company policies and procedures, safety and government regulations
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' of Operations management experience within the LTL Transportation industry
Experience working with dispatch and dock personnel
Proven leadership skills and the ability to build a team, fostering a positive work setting through coaching and mentoring
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong organizational skills as well as analytic and planning skills
Able to work full time in Brockville, Ontario
