Position Summary
Aburi Market Ambleside is looking for a Kitchen Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations by preparing high-quality dishes with consistency and efficiency, while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety. This role is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented cook who thrives in a rapid-paced environment, takes pride in their craft, and is eager to grow within a collaborative and skilled kitchen team!

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and standards
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and proper food handling in all work areas
Assist with prep, production,



and service during busy periods
Support inventory organization and assist with ordering as needed (or willingness to learn)
Perform kitchen steward duties, including cleaning stations, equipment, and work areas
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated
Lift, move, and organize products and supplies up to 50 lbs
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to assist with or learn ordering and inventory processes
Valid Food Protected certification
Previous Asian cooking experience is an asset, due to ingredients used
Robust work ethic and reliability
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
