Overview
Saddleback Dental Centre is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. We are a local, family run clinic who values long time employees. The ideal candidate will support daily clinical operations, assist with patient care, and ensure a smooth workflow within the practice. Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD imaging technology
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Manage patient records efficiently using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix
Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle administrative tasks related to patient flow
Maintain a clean, organized,



and safe clinical setting at all times
Support the front desk team as a dental receptionist when needed, ensuring excellent patient service

Requirements
Certification or training in Dental Assisting from an accredited program
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in customer service is advantageous
Flexibility to adapt to evolving practice needs and procedures

Shifts:

Monday 9 am - 5 pm

Tuesday 11 am - 7 pm

Wednesday 11 am - 7 pm

Saturday 9 am - 4 pm

We use Cleardent as our dental software.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
