Job Summary The successful Electromechanicallytechnician will work under the Maintenance Supervisor as part of ateam responsible for optimizing the machinery output by installing,maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairingmachinery. Responsibilities Repair, install, assemble, maintain and testindustrial equipment (industrial and stationary engines, pumps andcompressors (NH3) automated and robotic systems, electrical andelectronic controls, power tools, fans and blowers, hydraulicsystems, pneumatic systems);
Locate, determine and diagnose malfunctions in theplant and perform repairs;
Plan work ahead to increase efficiency in doingrepairs;
Report any specific findings, known problem ordelays to supervisor;
Other duties as assigned by the immediateSupervisor Qualifications and EducationExperience A high school diploma and vocational training orprogram are usually required. Relevant manufacturing experience in a unionizedenvironment an asset Successfully complete internaltesting. Relevant industrial experience preferred, experiencein troubleshooting and repair. Able to work under pressure in a rapid-pacedenvironment. Knowledge of HACCP/SQF standards anasset;
