POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Electrician is responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment throughout the Bradshaw Mine operation. This role supports underground and surface mining activities by ensuring electrical infrastructure, mobile equipment, and fixed plant systems are maintained in a protected, reliable, and efficient manner.





The successful candidate will be a motivated tradesperson who thrives in a hands‑on mining environment and is committed to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform electrical inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on underground and surface electrical systems and equipment.
- Install, test, commission, and maintain electrical equipment in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and equipment failures to minimize downtime and support production objectives.
- Maintain mine power distribution systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, motors, pumps, fans, and associated infrastructure.
- Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of underground mobile equipment electrical systems as required.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
