Casting "Solitaire," a short film about a middle-aged man who is stuck in high school detention because he didn’t realize he could’ve left years ago. Filming is in the GTA.This is a Non- Union project, non-paid.Food and beverages will be provided!
A middle-aged (late 40s, early 50s) man who believes he is still a 17-year-old high school student serving detention in 1990. Neil creates an imaginary life for himself in detention, and is kept company by a sock puppet friend, Mikey, whom Neil voices. Neil is easily impressionable, cocky, immature, and not the sharpest tool in the shed.
