In this volunteer treasurer role, you'll collaborate closely with the Board, Executive Director, and leadership. You will ensure fiscal health by managing audits, providing regular financial updates, and ensuring compliance with donor and government requirements. Your influence will help shape financial transparency and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise financial reporting to Board members
• Review and recommend external auditor each year
• Conduct annual meetings with auditors and discuss reports




• Participate in the Executive Committee
• Provide orientation and guidance to the recent Treasurer

Requirements:
• Previous governance or board experience preferred
• Robust skills in financial management and budgeting
• Familiarity with mental health or suicide prevention is a plus
• Comfortable dealing with sensitive financial matters
• Aligns with the mission and values of the Crisis Centre
