Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage daily operations, including yard and field activities.
- Develop and implement pricing and business development strategies.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and support drivers, yard personnel, and other team members.
- Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety, quality, and professionalism.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, customers, and industry partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and support market growth initiatives.
- Manage key customer accounts and support sales activities.
- Collaborate with operations and administrative teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Monitor accounts receivable and support timely collections.
- Conduct employee performance reviews, coaching sessions, and regular team meetings.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop employees as required.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, customer information, and forecasting using CRM software.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable safety regulations.

Qualifications

- Minimum 7 years of experience in the construction industry.




- At least 3 years of leadership or management experience.
- Strong understanding of construction operations and business development.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Valid Class 3 Driver's Licence.
- Existing relationships within the local construction industry are considered an asset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
