This role involves working at the Abbotsford Senior Clinic and several consultation liaison services across hospitals including Eagle Ridge and Royal Columbian. As part of an interdisciplinary Geriatric Mental Health team, you will care for older patients and those with acquired brain injuries. Your responsibilities will also include consulting with other psychiatrists, leading case conferences, and mentoring residents to foster their training.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional mental health care to older adults
• Engage in consultations and outreach to residences




• Conduct assessments and facilitate discharge planning
• Advocate for patients’ mental health needs
• Participate in ECT and ER on-call duties

Requirements:
• Certification in Psychiatry with a focus on geriatrics
• Proficiency in outpatient treatment modalities
• Effective communication with diverse patient groups
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
