Your New Role
As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating transportation activities while providing a high level of customer service. You will operate in a fast-paced, agile setting where problem-solving and adaptability are key to success.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and dispatching customer service calls
Serving as the main point of communication between drivers, scale operators, and yard teams
Directing truck activity and providing feedback on material quality
Monitoring driver hours to ensure compliance with provincial regulations
Tracking incoming and outgoing orders
Planning effective routes based on customer pickup requirements
Ensuring all safety procedures and operational processes are followed
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of 2 years of fleet dispatching experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
Strong customer service skills with a professional approach
The ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting with the ability to multitask
Knowledge of MTO regulations, border crossing procedures, documentation, and truck/trailer configurations
