As an experienced Estimator working in the Civil & Infrastructure Operations team at Pomerleau Construction, you will support current and ongoing project growth and challenge industry standards with your trade‑driven expertise and knowledge. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will work closely with our proposals team and various client groups to secure bids and ensure project success.

What You Will Do

Contribute actively to the bid process cycle.

Identify project-specific pricing for labor, equipment, and materials.

Accurately interpret technical specifications with a sharp attention to detail.

Perform thorough quantity take‑offs to ensure precise contract specifications and pricing.

Stay focused on client pricing requirements to ensure project feasibility.

Build solid relationships with trade partners, consultants, and clients to support project success.

Explore innovative solutions and opportunities within the scope of the project.





This Role Could Be For You If You Have

5‑10 years of relevant estimating experience in the construction industry.

A university degree, college diploma, or certificate in engineering or construction management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A proven track record in project coordination and team collaboration.

Experience in building relationships with industry and project stakeholders.

A comprehensive understanding of the bid process cycle.

Strong research skills for identifying and analyzing project-specific expenses.

Expertise in quantity take‑offs to ensure accuracy in contract specifications and pricing.

Solid computer skills, especially with estimation software.
