Position: Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN)
Overview Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, and demonstrating a commitment to the mission, values, and management philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Clinical Practice Nurse provides qualified registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. Services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, leadership in the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge.
Qualifications & Skills Post‑graduate course in ICU nursing or equivalent experience required.
Current CRNM registration required.
Active participation in skilled associations, e.g., Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
Annual BLS Level C registration/re‑registration is required.
Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
Applicant who does not meet above qualifications may be considered if no qualified applicants are available.




Other Requirements A current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check is required as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if obtained no more than six months prior to the start of employment.
Employment Conditions This maternity/parental term may expire sooner than the date indicated, subject to written notice of a minimum two (2) weeks or one (1) pay period, whichever is longer.
