About This Opportunity
The NWOH is a volunteer organization that provides volunteers with a tremendous opportunity to participate with outgoing and energetic retired members of the community. We are like minded individuals who get a jolt out of being able to utilize our knowledge and experiences to provide a service to our community and to the even more unfortunate members of the global village. We strive to support those in need by providing them with items and goods that allow them to live a better life.
In the sewing room volunteers work together to produce items that will be sent overseas to provide aid and comfort in under developed countries.
Volunteers can work both on-site and/or from home making items that will be sent overseas.
All materials come from community donations volunteers are only asked to supply their time, skills and expertise.
