Location: Calgary, AB – Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

Experience Required: 8–10 years in SAP IS-U Billing, Device Management, and utility industry processes. Experience in Project and Team Management.

Role Description
The ISU Techno Functional Consultant provides operational and application support for SAP IS-U Billing and Device Management processes, ensuring productive Meter-to-Cash operations. Responsibilities include incident resolution, configuration, testing, functional design, process improvements, and integration support across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and resolve day‑to‑day incidents, billing exceptions, and defects to ensure smooth Meter-to-Cash operations.

Provide operational support for:

Billing exceptions

Device installation and removal

Meter readings

Device Management (DM) integration defects

Manage incidents and support operations related to data exchange (IDEX) processes, including IDoc processing.

Perform SAP IS‑U configuration updates for Billing and Device Management.

Prepare functional specifications for WRICEF objects, including:

Billing reports





Device Management workflows

Microsoft Fabric pipelines

Conduct Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure end-to-end validation across integrated systems.

Identify and recommend process improvement and automation prospects using Microsoft Fabric capabilities:

Dataflows

Pipelines

Lakehouse

Power BI Embedded Analytics

Analyze recurring issues and recommend automation solutions or process enhancements to reduce manual effort and minimize billing exceptions.
