Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with impairment, pain, functional limitations or disabilities across outpatient, inpatient, and community settings.

Educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members and caregivers.

Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and assistants.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Physiotherapy, or Master of Science in Physiotherapy.

Membership with the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Regulator.

Computer skills (statistics input, word processing, Outlook).

Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS).

Relevant additional courses, education or training in specialized areas such as cardio-respiratory techniques, acupuncture, stroke rehabilitation, manual therapy,



balance training, etc.

Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.

Hours

Permanent, full-time position; 75 hours biweekly.

Flexibility in shifts.

Compensation And Advantages
Hourly rate: $38.43 - $50.98
