Bethany Didsbury is seeking a dedicated full time Recreation Therapist to provide vital assessments and interventions for resident care. Work collaboratively to enrich the lives of residents through meaningful recreation activities.

In this vital role, you will assess resident wellness and design tailored programs to enhance physical and social engagement. You'll also supervise the Recreation Therapy Assistant while working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality service delivery and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and adapt recreation therapy programs for residents
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and outcomes
• Collaborate with community resources to enrich programming




• Supervise Recreation Therapy Assistants and volunteers
• Foster partnerships with residents' families for holistic care

Requirements:
• Diploma in Recreation Therapy or related qualifications
• Prior experience with geriatric populations is preferred
• Knowledge of dementia care practices beneficial
• Robust communication and teamwork skills
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required
