Become the High Risk Outreach Coordinator at Dän Sóthän Nûtl’et Do, a permanent full time role aimed at enhancing community health. Focus on outreach and support for high-risk groups.
In this role, you will provide essential case management and outreach support for individuals affected by residential school issues and other high-risk scenarios. Collaborating closely with First Nations, government, and non-profit organizations, you'll facilitate access to crucial resources while promoting educational programs to the community. A commitment to a positive, supportive atmosphere is vital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive support to high-risk community members
• Engage with agencies and officials for resource access
• Create and lead workshops on essential outreach topics
• Collaborate in program planning with the Wellness Team
• Adapt and implement community prevention strategies
Requirements:
• Education in social work or related fields
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and essential background checks
• Proficient communication and project management skills
• Demonstrated commitment to community service
• Knowledge of cultural sensitivities and community needs
Support vulnerable citizens in their journey towards healing and empowerment.
