Salary Range: $24.75 - $32.25 per visit

Qualifications

- Post‑secondary diploma as an Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA)
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable vehicle required
- General knowledge of mobility aids and assistive equipment
- Commitment to person‑ and family‑centered care
- Passionate, empathetic, good judgement, and critical thinking when making decisions




- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team as well as work independently
- Valuing the role of a therapist in keeping clients at home when that is personally important

Responsibilities

- Prepare clients for treatment and progress them through treatment programs
- Assist with and/or teach client therapy programs and training activities of daily living, including the use of assistive equipment and balance training
- Assist in the use of therapeutic equipment, including setup, take‑down, and cleaning/disinfection to ensure equipment is in good working order
- Apply modalities, including but not limited to heat, ice, ultrasound, IFC, EMS, TENS, and low‑intensity modalities
- Write explicit, professional, objective, and accurate documentation in client communication records
