What I Will Be Doing
The Assistant Manager, Slope Maintenance reports directly to the Manager of Slope Maintenance and oversees a team of groomers, snowmakers, welders, and heavy equipment operators. Responsibilities include:

Leading by example and ensuring team support.

Managing performance, engaging staff, setting expectations, measuring productivity, coaching,



addressing concerns, and recognizing achievements.

Creating and maintaining schedules according to budgets and operational demands.

Planning and providing standardized onboarding and training.

Enforcing safety regulations and coordinating accident procedures.

Coordinating daily shift work and team communications.

Coordinating maintenance and timely reporting of equipment issues to maximize uptime.

What We Need From You

5+ years of snowmaking or grooming experience.

Landscape construction experience an asset.

Experience managing a medium-sized work unit (30+ employees) an asset.

Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather (heat or cold).

Willingness to work weekend, day and overnight shifts.
