Instructors are responsible for preparing course content, ensuring it is accessible to students on D2L, and available on a weekly basis. They may co‑develop course content with other instructors or faculty. Instructors are expected to engage with students through discussion posts, reading responses, and assignments, and may hold optional online office hours.

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver course content on D2L each week.

Co‑develop and update materials in collaboration with colleagues.

Engage students via discussion forums, reading responses, and assignments.

Hold optional online office hours.

Explore literature on play, including play as reflective pedagogy.

Incorporate various theoretical perspectives into interpretation of children's play.

Facilitate physical and social settings that support learners’ cognitive, emotional, social, spiritual, and physical development.

Qualifications

Graduate degree in Education.

Preferred university‑level teaching experience.

Knowledge of and experience teaching course content.

Understanding and experience teaching early‑years learning.
