This is a 5 month contract
Role: The Director, Financial Reporting is responsible for leading the preparation, accuracy, and integrity of the company’s consolidated financial statements and disclosures in compliance with IFRS/GAAP and regulatory requirements.
About the Prospect
Manage the IFRS month/quarter-end close process, including MD&A; and related note disclosers
Ensure SOX requirements are met and internal control processes are in place
Assisting VP FP&A; with forecasting and budgeting
Responsible for managing the payroll team
Manage the intercompany accounting process among multiple entities
Support the audit (internal and external) audit processes
Supporting financial M&A; integration team
Ad-hoc requests.
About You
CPA designation with 10+ years’ experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Experience working within a public company with a multinational business
Experience with financial system and SOX implementation
Excellent accounting and analytical abilities
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
