Drive impactful dementia community services in Southwest Washington as the Dementia Program Coordinator. This essential role focuses on training, outreach, and program development, enhancing support access for rural communities.
As a key partner with community organizations, you will lead the development of culturally responsive dementia education and initiatives. Your team-oriented work will engage healthcare providers, social service agencies, and tribal partners. This role demands robust outreach skills to promote programs such as Dementia Friends and Memory Cafés, while ensuring proper data collection and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop targeted dementia training for staff and partners
• Promote early diagnosis and stigma reduction through outreach
• Coordinate logistics for regional training and outreach events
• Build partnerships with various community organizations
• Support program communications and data tracking
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and two years of experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Solid understanding of Alzheimer’s and related services
• Excellent organizational and project coordination skills
• Ability to engage with diverse communities
