Responsibilities Create and monitor construction estimates across a variety of project types and delivery methods, including lump‑sum, unit‑rate, time‑and‑material, construction management, and design‑build.
Lead a team in the preparation of estimates for major projects.
Manage and administer departmental functions, including operating budgets, staffing, wage reviews, work assignments, and performance evaluations.
Determine bid strategies to ensure company success and plan, coordinate, and supervise large projects.
Review all final estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to formal quotation.
Manage people and oversee bids.
Qualifications Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience.
Advanced management or technical training preferred.
Experience estimating earthworks, underground, and concrete projects in public and industrial settings.
At least 10 years of experience in similar facility construction estimating and related functions.




Thorough knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies, techniques, and construction contracts.
Excellent organizational, supervisory, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
