Drive success in game development education as an Instructor for Game Production Leadership. Provide mentorship to students as they navigate the complexities of game creation from concept to completion.
This role focuses on facilitating student-led projects while instilling qualified production standards and accountability. Your extensive industry background will enrich classroom discussions and provide real-world context for project management, agile methodologies, and iterative development processes. Emphasizing teamwork and collaboration, you will help students prepare for the realities of game production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach one to five courses per academic term
• Mentor student teams through all production phases
• Ensure adherence to sprint cycles and production timelines
• Review and critique documentation and project outcomes
• Support students in achieving industry readiness
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or relevant game development experience
• 5+ years in the game industry
• Knowledge of Agile practices and production workflows
• Proficient with Unreal Engine or Unity
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
