Join YVR as a Field Engineer within the Engineering Projects department, focusing on project management and quality control. This full time role involves various responsibilities that drive project success and stakeholder communication.
In this position, you will assist Project Engineers by managing key documentation and coordinating with contractors and internal teams. Your role will be vital in ensuring that projects are executed on time and within budget, while also meeting all necessary standards. You will leverage your engineering background to identify and implement practical solutions for project challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage project documents and compliance in Procore
• Identify and address key project lockouts
• Prepare and oversee lockout requests and additional documentation




• Participate in regular site reviews and project design meetings
• Investigate RFIs and ensure corrective actions are taken
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
• EIT registration with Engineers and Geoscientist of BC preferred
• Relevant experience in a construction project setting
• Familiarity with document management software
• Solid problem-solving capabilities and communication skills
