Site Superintendent – Renovation Projects

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Salary: $100,000–$125,000

Project Value: $1M–$10M Renovation Projects

Reliance Impact is working with a well-established construction company that is looking to add an experienced Site Superintendent to their team. This role will focus on managing renovation projects across Southwestern Ontario, typically ranging from $1 million to $10 million in value.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Superintendent who enjoys leading active job sites, coordinating trades, solving problems in real time, and delivering high-quality renovation projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

About the Role

As the Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of renovation construction sites. You will oversee trades, suppliers, site safety, scheduling, quality control, and communication with the project team to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

- Manage all daily site operations for renovation projects valued between $1M and $10M
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site staff, consultants, and inspectors
- Maintain project schedules and ensure work is completed on time
- Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and Ontario construction regulations
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to support smooth execution
- Identify and resolve site issues quickly and professionally
- Conduct site meetings and provide regular updates to the Project Manager




- Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are met
- Manage site logistics, deliveries, materials, and access requirements
- Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, deficiencies, and safety records
- Support project closeout, deficiency management, and client handover

Qualifications

- Experience as a Site Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or similar site leadership role
- Strong background in renovation, commercial, institutional, industrial, or multi-residential construction projects
- Experience managing projects in the $1M–$10M range is considered an asset
- Robust understanding of construction drawings, schedules, sequencing, and site coordination
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and keep projects moving efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Ontario health and safety requirements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites across Southwestern Ontario
