Resort is a year round resort located between Hope and Princeton, BC. If you are ready to leave the hustle and bustle of city life, and enjoy outdoor fun and adventure, this is a great place to work. We are presently searching for our next greatteam member as aPatrollerto join ourAlpine team.If youcan provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as anenergetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities include: (but not limitedto)

- Compliance with all Manning Park GuidingValues, policies, and procedures as outlined in employee handbook and PatrolManual
- Ensure guest and safety through identifyingand mitigating hazards, maintaining all ski area ropes and signs, opening andclosing runs, assessing, and mitigating avalanche risk, compiling weather data,providing first aid, participating in rope rescues, locating missing personswithin bounds, and contributing to public education.
- Patient care record keeping and incident investigation documentation
- Guest Relations, including managing difficultguests
- Exemplify and enforce the Alpine Responsibility Code
- Assisting with all events
- Communicate clearance to open runs, on-hillhazards, etc
- Keeping the ski area clean of debris and garbage
- Maintenance, inspection,



and documentation ofall Ski Patrol equipment
- Sign and uphold Manning Park’sConfidentiality Agreement
- Night On-Call resort/staff first aid
- Assisting Lift Operation with Daily opening
- Other tasks as required

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

- Valid Occupational First Aid Level 3(Preferred) or higher certification or CSP, 80 hr. Wilderness First Aid, orequivalent.
- Safety-oriented working attitude and aprofessional manner
- Excellent communication and guest servicesskills
- Ability to be a supportive team member
- Able to follow direction and work unsupervised
- Advanced skiing/snowboarding skills; must be able to ski all runs with toboggan
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- In excellent physical condition
- Previous experience in patrol, first aid,snowmobile driving, SAR an asset
- Avalanche Skill Training 1 (AST 1) or higheran asset
- Fall Protection training, Work on High orRock Climbing experience are assets.

This is a Seasonal Position so you must beable to commit to the role for the full Winter Season (November-April). As aseasonal teammemberyou may be presented with opportunities tocross-trainand support other departments to meet seasonal demands.
